A woman rehearses the art of goodbyes. Those famous last words that are almost always spoken by men; in films, in songs, in pop culture. She seeks that legendary feeling of freedom when you walk out the door or hang up the phone. She repeats similar worn-out phrases of farewell over and over again, driven by the score, closing door after door, stumbling through a surreal film set, while the emotions become real again and again but never enough. With her desire for redemption, she loses herself deeper and deeper in her own experiment until she sees only one way out: the ultimate farewell.
